C/Z records was active from 1986 through 2001 but has a legendary status having released many releases and bands from from the Pacific Northwest including Soundgarden, Melvins, Built to Spill, 7 Year Bitch, The Gits, Green River, Hammerbox, Love Battery, Coffin Break, the Presidents of the United States of America, and even a little band named Nirvana.
